The 1'91 shooting guard Alex Castells, born in 1991 and therefore still junior next year, has signed by Breogán Lugo, where will play in the team tied, Estudiantes Lugo, between 1st National Division and EBA League.
In 2007 was champion of Spanish Championship U16 as one of important players of this generation of DKV Joventut. In addition Castells was also the silver medal in the Spanish Championships U16 for autonomies 2007, in which participated with Catalonia. The last season before he signed with the DKV Joventut,2005-2006, and although first-year cadet, he participated in the Spanish Championship U16 club, being one of the Salesianos Vigo key players, which also played in junior level. The next 7th to 10th july, Álex Castells will play with Galician U18 NT in the Oliveira Azemeis Tournament in Portugal, where will be to Netherlands NT and Portugal NT.
