Andrea Oravcova, slovakian international combo guard born in 1987 has signed with Sedis Cadi for the 2011-12 season, which will be her second profesional experience outside Slovakia.
Andrea has been one of the best players in Slovakia, playing for different teams like Ruzomberok, Banska Bystrica, Nitra and Poprad, averaging in her last season 13,2 points per game with 53% from the field, 35% in three pointers and 87% in free throws.
Andrea has a good physical condition (she is very explosive), good fundamentals and an excellent and fast outside shot, skills that make her a complete player. She can play both the point and the shooting guard, offering this versatility to the team coached by Andreu Bou.
After rennouncing a few months ago to play the European Championship, in which she would have had an important role in Hejkova´s squad, Andrea Oravcova has been using the 2011 summer to completely recover from her meniscus problems that didn´t allow her to be 100% at the end of the past season, trying to be in the best possible shape looking forward her first experience in Spain.
Andrea Oravcova is excited and ready to join Sedis Cadi and excited to keep improving in such a strong competition as the Spanish Liga Femenina.
