Gabriel Diaz is a 1'97 shooting guard born in 1989 and he has become one of the great Catalan promises of his generation.

After his passage through the junior CB Cornellà, he has played in the 2007-2008 season in sènior "B" of the entity in 1st Catalan Division, which has averaged over 20 points per game in one of the leading teams in Group 1 Siemens Cornellà "B", also becoming one of the most influential players in the category in his first year of senior and one of the pearls of the quarry of CB Cornellà.

His speed and talent in the 1vs1, and a great shot from beyond 6.25 make him be a decisive player in attack. Alike, leverages his scale in defence to counter imposed on external power and have a choice of stolen balls.

In the 2007-2008 season, has trained and sometimes with the LEB 2 of CB Cornellà.
