Aija Brumermane is a 1,91m  Latvian international post with experience in European Championships, Olympic Games and Euroleague where she has averaged 7,7 points and 5,6 rebounds in Mondeville during the 2010-11 season.

Aija´s career starts at Riga where she has played for TTT Riga as one of the best posts in Latvia for many years.

In the 2007-08 season, Aija Brumermane  averaged 14,4  points and 7 rebounds in League, having her Euroleague first experience.

In the 2008-09 season, Aija averaged 13,6 points and 9,8 rebounds in League, 8,8 points and 10,6 rebounds in Baltic League and 5 points and 5,7 rebounds in 21 minutes in Euroleague.

Aija had her last season in TTT Riga during 2009-10, averaging 8,9 points and 4,8 rebounds in LatvianLeague and 6,8 points and 5,5 rebounds in Euroleague, shining against Ros Casares with 13 points and 7 rebounds.

In the 2010-11 season,Aija signed with USO Mondeville, averaging 7,3 points and 5,5 rebounds with 55% from the field in 24 minutes per game in French 1st division and 7,7 points and 5,6 rebounds in 26 minutes in Euroleague, shining in the win against Wisla with 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Aija Brumermane has played for the different Latvian national teams.

In the 2006 U20 European Championship , Aija averages 11,4 points and 9,1 rebounds per game, shining against Israel with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Aija has played with the Senior National Team since 2005, averaging 4,5 points and 3 rebounds per game in the Qualifying Round for the 2011 European Championship.
