Anita Teilane is a 1,96m latvian center with experience in different european first divisions. Anita´s career begins in RTU Klondaika Riga where she plays until the 2005-06 season.
One year later, Anita signs with Wolfenbuettel, in german first division where she aveages 18,4 points and 9,4 rebounds per game in 2006-07 and 16 points 11,4 rebounds (first rebounder in the league) and 3,5 blocks (best shotblocker) in the 2008-09 season.
Anita Teilane signs with Burgos in 2009-10, to play in spanish second division but after limited playing time she moves to Switzerland to play for Nyon, where she averages 13,3 points 9,9 rebounds and 2,3 blocks per game, that helped the team to win the Swiss Cup and be League Finalist.
Anita begins the 2010-11 seasons in RTU Merks-Riga, averaging 15,4 points and 11,3 rebounds per game. Later she moved to Romania and signed with Satu Mare.
Anite Teilane has experience with the different Latvian youth national teams and also has played the senior European Championship in 2007.
