Jelena Maksimovic is a 1,92m international serbian center with experience in some  of the world top leagues and also in FIBA Cup and international competitions where she is the starting center in Serbian National Team.

In the 2010-11 season,  Jelena Maksimovic signs with Energa Torun, averaging 10,3 points and 6,8 rebounds in 19 minutes per game in League and 14,4 points and 7,3 rebounds in 25 minutes per game in FIBA cup, shining against Mann Filter with 22 points and 13 rebounds or against Gran Canaria with 23 points in 25 minutes.

In the 2010 summer, Jelena plays the qualification for European Championship with Serbia, averaging 10,7 points and 5,5 rebounds in just 18 minutes per game with excellent 63% from the field.

Jelena Maksimovic stays in Torun in the 2011-12 season,  averaging 14,2 points and 7,5 rebounds in Polish League with excellent 54,8% from the field, shining with 24 points and 7 rebounds and 20 points and 5 rebounds in the games against CCC Polkowice , 19 points and 12 rebounds against Wisla Krakow or 25 points against Lider Pruszkow.
