Kristine Karklina is a latvian combo guard with experience in European Championships, Euroleague and Spanish 1st Division.

After playing for some years with Stade Poitevin in France, Kristine Karklina signs with Cesis in the 2008-09 season, when she averages 7,6 points and 2,8 rebounds in Baltic League and 5,1 points and 2,5 rebounds in FIBA Cup.

In the 2009-10 season, Kristine signs with TTT Riga and averages 11 points 4,4 assists and 2,7 steals in Latvian League and 8,6 points 2,6 rebounds and 1,9 assists in Euroleague, shining in the win against Teo Vilnius with 23 points.

After starting the 2010-11 season in TTT Riga and averaging 8,6 points per ame in Euroleague (shining against Kosice and Wisla Krakow with 17 points in both games),  Kristine Karklina signs with Sedis Cadi in Spanish 1st division and averages 10,3 points 2,9 rebounds and 8,4 in efficiency in 23 minutes per game, excelling against Soller with 20 points 7 rebounds and 23 in efficiency or Olesa with 25 points and 30 in efficiency.

Kristine has been a key player in latvian national teams , having played with the U16, U18 and also senior national team.

Kristine has played the Qualifying Round for the 2011 European Championship, averaging 8,7 points 3,3 rebounds and 4 assists per game.

In the 2011 summer, Kristine Karklina played the European Championship, averaging 6,8 points and 3,8 rebounds and shining in quarter finals against the future champion, Russia, with 18 points.
