Olga Ruano is a young spanisn 1,91 center born in 1988 who after playing five seasons in Spanish 2nd division has averaged 8,9 points and 6,1 rebounds in the 2009-10 season and has played the last three playoffs to move to 1st division and won the last four Catalan League Championships.

After practicing other sports, Olga started playing basketball in the 2004-05 season in Femeni Sant Adria and as a U18 player.

After this season she was recruited for F.C.Barcelona and with their U18 team she was third in the Catalonian Championship (averaging 28 minutes per game) and eigth place in the Spanish U18 Championship.

OnCe her junior season was over, Olga returned to Sant Adria and played both in the 2nd and 3rd Dvivision team, averaging 5,5 points and 8,3 rebounds per game with a 9,6 efficiency average in her first season as a senior player.

Olga is called with the U19 Spanish National Team and plays with them in December,2006.

During the next season, Olga is more important in the team and averages 10,7 ponts and 8,1 rebounds with 13,9 efficiency average, raising her field goal percentage from 38% to 44%.

The team has a great season and plays the playoffs to move to 2nd division and also she plays the playoffs to move to 1st division with the 1st team.

She also wins the Catalan League again after beating Don Piso Uni Girona in the Final, same thing that would happen in the 2008-2009 season.

In the 2008-2009 season, Olga averaged 2,3 points and 2,5 rebounds in 9 minutes per game, playing again the playoffs to move to 1st division.

But it´s in the 2009-10 season when finally Olga Ruano is important in Spanish 2nd division and playing for Femeni Sant Adria she averages 8,9 points 6,1 rebounds and 10,1 efficiency average in 24 minutes per game.

Again Sant Adria wins the Catalan League and plays the playoff to move to 1st division.

Olga Ruano signs with U.E.Mataró in the 2010-11 season, averaging 8,5 points and 6,3 rebounds for 9,6 in efficiency in 27 minutes per game.

In the 2011-12 season, Olga Ruano signs with Uni Girona.
