Shawn Goff is a 1,91m american center who after a brilliant career at OLE Mississippi is ready to continue her success in Europe. Shawn Goff´s career starts at Leon High School, where she averaged 17.3 points, 10.4 rebounds and 4.5 blocks in her senior season, numbers that allowed her to earn a scholarship in Ole Mississippi.
In her first season at OLE Mississippi, in the 2005-2006 season , Shawn averaged 15 minutes per game contributing with 3.7 points , 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. Later in the 2006-2007 season already as a sophomore, her production increased to an interesting average of 7.8 points 5,3 rebounds and 1,4 blocks. The season was brilliant at the collective level reaching the Elite 8, that is one of the eight best teams of the whole NCAA NCAA, eliminating the previous champion in the second round(Maryland) and only losing to the team that would finally be the NCAA champion, Tennessee.
As a junior, Shawn did not stop her progression, averaging excellent 13 points 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, being one of the only six players who scored over 20 points against the champion Tennessee of Candace Parker, Nicky Anosike and Alexis Hornbuckle ( Shawn had 20 points and 12 rebounds). She was also named in the second best five All-SEC. In the 2008-2009 season, Shawn Goff had a very good senior year with averages of 13.8 points 6.6 rebounds 2 blocks and 1.7 steals per game and highlighting in some games like against Auburn who had the 5th pick in 2009 WNBA Draft (Dewanna Bonner) where Shawn produced 25 points and 10 rebounds.
In the 2009-10 season, Shawn Goff signs with Marbo in Swedish First Division and averages 16,9 points 9,5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game being named in the Best Import team and Second Team in the League. In April , 2010, Shawn Goff signs with Atlanta Dream in WNBA.
Shawn Goff is a complete and very athletic inside player who can score playing with her back to the basket but also with her nice touch from mid distance. Shawn is also a good defender and an excellent shotblocker.
Shawn Goff signs with Super-Pol Leszno, in polish first division, during the 2010-11 season, averaging 7,2 points and 5,2 rebounds in 18 minutes per game, shining against Widzew with 28 points and 13 rebounds.
