Zuleira Aties is a 1,90 cuban power forward who after an extensive presence with Cuban national team, played her first two seasons in Hungaria with big stats and moved to Pozzuoli in Italian 1st división where she averaged 8,9 points and 6,3 rebounds per game.
Zuleira averaged 18,6 points 8 rebounds 3,1 assists and 3,7 steals in Cegledi, in Hungarian 1st división during the 2007-08 season and 16,3 points 8,3 rebounds 2,1 assists and 3,2 steals in the 2007-08 season, playing for BSE Budapest.
Zuleira Aties is a very athletic player who is also very skilled technically.
She can play the low post but also she is a great one on one player from the top of the key and has three point range.
Also Zuleira is an aggressive defender and has always been between the top players in steals in the different leagues where she has played.
After playing the Ecuador League in the 2010 summer, Zuleira Aties signed with Carmelitas Ourense in Spanish Liga Femenina 2, averaging 16 points 8,4 rebounds and 14,7 in efficiency per game.
In the 2011-12 season, Zuleira Aties decided to stay in Carmelitas Ourense and even improved her numbers up to 19,7 points 7,4 rebounds and 19,3 in efficiency with 54% from the field and 40,7% in three pointers.
