Catherine Scanlon, after being one of the best players in LF2 with Aviles in the 2010-11 season, reaching her team until the semifinals and averaging 14,9 points 7 rebounds and 15 in efficiency, has trarted LF1 with two good individual performances of 14 points 7 rebounds and 16 in efficiency in the 57-54 defeat against Navarra and 16 points 4 three pointers 4 steals and 18 in efficiency also in the defeat against Celta 65 to 74.
The american player, who is still adapting to the new competition and to playing mainly at the small forward position (after playing the 4 for many years) is being a key piece in Miguel Ángel Ortega´s team, who is using her skills.
However, Ibiza´s first win hasn´t arrived yet, but having one of the best coaches in Spain and the team hard work will finally have reward (specially if one or two quality new pieces join the current roster).
Currently, Catherine Scanlon averages 15 points 5 rebounds 2 assists 3 steals 3 three pointers and 17 in efficiency per game, being the second player who has scored more threes, just behind Paola Ferrari.

Ziomara Morrison was the star in this game with 24 points 20 rebounds 3 blocks and 40 in efficiency, helped by a good second quarter of Celia Menendez and the passing skills of Lorena Infante who dished 10 assists.
Franciele was the main opposition for Hondarribia, plus a little help from Quintero and Garcia.

After a very strong first quarter, Victor Lapeña´s team achieved a good advantage (23-14) that could keep until the end of the game.
After being week 1´s MVP, again Jacinta Monroe was Mann Filter´s best player with 13 points 5 rebounds 5 blocks and 18 in efficiency.
Jazz Covington scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 21 minutes.
Jovana Rad was Navarra´s best player with 18 points and also Begoña Garcia was important for her team.

Catherine Scanlon was Ibiza´s best player with 16 points 4 threes 3 rebounds 4 steals and 18 in efficiency , numbers that weren´t enough to get their first win against Celta who was leaded by Gómez and Adams.

Difficult game for Zamora, who also couldn´t play their best scorer, Bernice Mosby.
Despite the theorical big difference, Zamarat resisted for 15 minutes but finally Ros Casares defeated the home team by 28 points.
Taru Tuukkanen scored 10 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and had 7 in efficiency meanwhile Lisa Karcic was Zamarat´s top rebounder with 8, adding also 3 points and 2 blocks.
Aja Parham was Zamora´s best scorer with 18 points and 5/15 from the field.
Wauters and Murphy shined for Ros Casares and Laia Palau joined the festival with 12 points 7 rebounds and 9 assists.
Miriam Forasté scored 2 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and had 5 in efficiency in 10 minutes of play.

Gisela Vega was a nightmare for Sedis with 29 points and 40 in efficiency that made her share the MVP with Ziomara Morrison and lead Girona to their first win.
Olga Ruano, after having her debut last week against Ros Casares, scored her first points in Liga Femenina.
In Sedis Cadí, Kristine Karklina scored 11 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and had 10 in efficiency, Tiina Sten scored 8 points in 19 minutes, Tania Pérez scored 2 points and [Cristina García@] grabbed 4 rebounds and had two steals.

Jorge Méndez´s team was close of getting the win against Rivas, leaded by the 22 points and 10 rebounds of Astrou Traore and the usual good performance of Ferrari and Ocete.
After being 15 points down, Miguel Mendez´s players recovered and with a good last quater achieved a good victory in a difficult court.
