Impressive performance by Daliborka Vilipic in Comense´s defeat against Parma 66 to 61. Vilipic scored 20 points (7/8 from the field and 6/6 from the free throw line), 15 rebounds and 7 recieved fouls for total 40 in efficiency.
After eleven games, the experienced 1,96m serbian post player is averaging 10,9 points 7,9 rebounds and 2,5 steals per game with excellent 64,1% from the field. Comense is currently ranked in a meritory fifth position with a 6-5 balance only after Schio (10-1), Taranto (8-3), Bracco Geas (8-3) and Umbertide (8-3) who has lost three games in a row. Lauren Ervin had a great game in the win against Lucca and produced 15 points 20 rebounds 7 recieved fouls and 5 steals for 30 in efficiency. After eleven rounds, Lauren is currently averaging 12,9 points and 11,1 rebounds per game (she is the best rebounder in the league) for Faenza who stands in the sixth position with a 6-5 record. Tanja Cirov scored 15 points (with 3 three pointers) and 5 recieved fouls and is currently the second best scorer in the A1 championship with 16,3 points 3,8 rebounds and 3,8 steals per game, with great percentages. She was a key player in Priolo´s win 57 to 43 against Umbertide and starts the recovery towards the safe positions after also signing Sidney Spender and probably Marija Eric. |
