Marija Lekovic is an athletic 1.68m international montenegrin point guard born in 2003 who is among the best young point guards in Europe.
Marija Lekovic ´s career at club level has been linked to Buducnost during her first years and she averaged 11.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game in Montenegrin League during the 2020/21 season and 10.9 points and 4.9 assists per game in the Adriatic League during the 2021/22 season.
With Buducnost, Marija Lekovic won the Montenegrin League and Cup during the 2020/21 (MVP) and the 2021/22 seasons, won the Adriatic League in the 2019/20 season and was Adriatic League Finalist in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 season.
Marija Lekovic has also played for the different Montenegrin National Teams and she averaged 10.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists in the U16B European Championship played in 2018 and 13 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game in the U16B European Championship played in 2019.
Marija has also been a member of the Montenegrin Senior National Team since 2019.
