The 2'12 georgian power forward born in 1983, Nikoloz Tskitishvili, has signed for one season with Panionios of the Greek League. Tskitishvili, who played in the 08-09 season with Fuenlabrada in ACB League, averaged 8.3ppg and 4.1rpg in the spanish competition, with 44% shooting from three points.
Panionios, who played in the Euroleague last season and fell in the quarterfinals of the greek league, will struggle this season to return to European competition and will debut on the runway at Peristeri on 24 October. The Greek team's coach Nenad Markovic, an extensive background as a player in the ACB, highlighting the stage with Pamesa Valencia and Estudiantes.
Nikoloz Tskitishvili was one of the top young europeans players who had been drafted in the history of the NBA. So Nikoloz was number 5 of the draft by Denver Nuggets in 2002 from Benetton Treviso in Italy.
