Tiina Sten, 1,88m international Finnish power forward has recently signed a professional contract with Sedis Cadi to play with the catalan team during the 2011-12 season.
This will be the third experience in Spain for Tiina Sten, who after a good college career at St. John´s signed with Gran Canaria in the 2008-09 season and with Mann Filter Zaragoza in the 2009-10 season. Tiina played with Panionios during the 2010-11 season, averaging 11,4 points and6,5 rebounds per game and being named in the Best Bosman Team in the League. Tiina is also a key piece in Finnish National Team. Recently she finished playing the Qualifying Round for the 2011 European Championship and averaged 12,9 points and 3,8 rebounds per game. After a good year in Greece and with Finnish National Team, Tiina Sten returns to Spain and will provide her versatility, intensity and work ethic to Sedis Cadí. |
