Ziomara Morrison, international chilean center, has renewed her contract with Jopisa Ciudad de Burgos and will play her second season for the team after moving to Spanish 1st Division in the 2011 Playoffs that took place in Zamora.
Ziomara averaged 15,3 points 9,5 rebounds and 20,7 in efficiency in 27 minutes per game during the 2010-11 season, averaging also 14 points 9,7 rebounds and 19,7 in efficiency in 25 minutes per game in the Playoffs.
Ziomara had her best game in the Final of Castilla Leon Cup, where she scored 39 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for 50 in efficiency that helped Burgos to win the title against Perfumerias Avenida, who won the Spanish SuperCup, Spanish League and Euroleague in the 2010-11 season. So Ziomara Morrison will have her debut in Spanish 1st Division, looking forward to continue with her progression and offer a good performance in a more demanding league.
Together with Lorena infantes, Lucia de Pablos, Celia Menendez and Ana Peredo´s renewals and the signing of Laura Herrera, the new roster of Burgos starts to be filled.
