January the 8th will be the first opportunity in an away game against Arxil where both players will play their first minutes with Carmelita´s colours.
Zuleira Aties is a 1,90m international cuban post player with three years or european experience.

In the 2006-07 season, Zuleira signed with Cegledi  in hungarian first division and averaged 18,6 points 8 rebounds 3,1 assists and 3,7 steals per game.
Zuleira stayed in Hungary during the 2007-08 season, signing with BSE Budapest and averaging 16,3 points 8,3 rebounds and 3,2 steals per game to move to the stronger italian league in the 2008-09 season  where she averaged 8,9 points 6,3 rebounds and 2,4 steals in Pozzuoli, sharing  team with Tamicka Dixon.
After being one of the best players in Ecuador league, playing alongside Paola Ferrari, Jazz Covington or Licet Castillo during the 2010 summer, Zuleira Aties finally returned to Europe and hopes to help Carmelitas in their quest for salvation.

The second new face in Ourense is the latvian international player Anete Horelika.
Anete Horelika began the season in Burgos, which was her first profesional experience outside Latvia.  Anete averaged 8,4 points and 2,8 rebounds for total 8,5 in efficiency. Good numbers according to the team level and that she only had 20 minutes per game.
Last season, Anete played for latvian SK Cesis and was latvian finalist after having a great performance in playoffs that allowed her to be selected in the top 15 players for latvian national team. Unluckily a nose fracture prevented her from finally making the team and couldn´t play the Qualifying Round for the 2011 European Championship.
 
As Zuleira,  Anete will try to help  Carmelitas Ourense in her second opportunity in Spain, theorically with a bigger role.
