Paula Ginzo is a Spanish power forward standing 1.88m tall and born in 1998, with experience at the highest level both at the club and national team level.
Paula was part of Siglo XXI from 2012 to 2016, and in her senior year she averaged 9.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
In the 2016/17 season, Paula Ginzo signed with Rivas Promete and was one of the best players in Liga Femenina 2, averaging 12.7 points, 10 rebounds and a +15.5 efficiency rating per game.
In 2017, Paula began her journey in Liga Femenina 1 and averaged 8 points, 7.5 rebounds and a +11.7 efficiency rating per game with Estudiantes in the 2017/18 season; 8.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and +10.8 efficiency with Al-Qázeres in the 2018/19 season; 9.3 points and 5.5 rebounds with Al-Qázeres in the 2019/20 season; 5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.6 efficiency in 16 minutes per game with Gernika in the 2020/21 season; and 7.3 points and 8 efficiency in 19 minutes per game in the 2021/22 season.
In the 2022/23 season, Paula Ginzo signed with Ensino and was one of the best players in Liga Femenina, averaging 11.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and a +13.3 efficiency rating per game, repeating her strong performance in the 2023/24 season with 11.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and +11.7 efficiency in 25 minutes per game with Barça CBS, before finishing the season with Valencia Basket and contributing 5.5 points and +5.2 efficiency in 13 minutes to win Liga Femenina.
In the 2024/25 season, Paula Ginzo signed with Hozono Jairis and averaged 6.2 points and 3.7 rebounds in 18 minutes per game in Liga Femenina, and 5.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and +6.5 efficiency in 19 minutes per game in the EuroCup, also winning the Copa de la Reina.
At youth national team level, Paula Ginzo won the Gold Medal at the U16 EuroBasket in 2013, U18 in 2015, U20 in 2017 and U20 in 2018; the Silver Medal at the U18 EuroBasket in 2016; and the Bronze Medal at the U16 EuroBasket in 2014.
With the senior national team, Paula Ginzo won the Gold Medal at the 2023 EuroBasket and has averaged 12.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 24 minutes during the qualification phase for EuroBasket 2025.
