Katarina Zec is a versatile 1.80m international serbian guard born in 1997 who has club, national team and NCAA experience.

With serbian youth national teams, Katarina Zec won the gold medal in the U16B European Championship in 2013, averaging 10.3 points and 6 rebounds per game. Before having her debut with the Senior National Team, Katarina also had good performances in the U20 European Championship played in 2017, averaging 11 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.

At club level, Katarina Zec played for Red Star belgrade until the 2015/16 season, having a nice final year with 13.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, becoming Serbian Cup Champion, Serbian League Finalista and named as the best player in her position in Serbian competition.

In the 2016/17 season, Katarina Zec signed with UTEP (Texas El Paso University) and she improved year after year, averaging 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in 2017/18, 10.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in 2018/19 and finally 12.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in the 2019/20, being named in the CUSA second team.
