Shante Evans was a star at West Chester High School and she averaged 28.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game in the 2008/08 season and was named McDonald´s All American nominee.

Shante Evans played college at Hofstra and she had an impressive career, averaging 13.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in the 2009/10 season, 18.4 points and 11 rebounds per game in the 2010/11 season, 19.2 points and 10.5 rebounds per game in the 2011/12 season and finally 16.1 points and 11.5 rebounds in the 2012/13 season. In May 2013, Shante signed a WNBA training contract with the New York Libery.

Shante Evans started her professional career becoming Bulgarian League Champion in the 2013/14 season, averaging 14 points and 7.9 rebounds per game in League and 11 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in the Eurocup.

In the 2014/15 season, Shante Evans signed in France and playing for Aix en Provence she averaged excellent 17.5 points and 11 rebounds per game.

In the 2015/16 season, Shante Evans became Romanian League Champion with Sf. Gheorghe and she averaged 13.4 points, 9.3 rebounds and +19.2 efficiency per game.

Shante Evans signed with ZKK Athlete Celje in the 2016/17 season and she won the Slovenian League, averaging 16.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and +23.5 efficiency in just 23 minutes per game. Also, Shante Evans won the Adriatic League and was the MVP after averaging 17.9 points, 10.8 rebounds and +22.1 efficiency per game.

In the 2017 summer, Shante Evans played the European Championship with the Slovenian National Team and she averaged 7.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 24 minutes per game. In 2011, Shante has also played the Panamerican Games with the USA National Team, averaging 6.8 points and 7.8 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.

In the 2017/18 season, Shante Evans signed in Spain with Uni Girona and she averaged 8.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and +9.7 efficiency in 20 minutes per game during the Spanish League Regular Season, 9.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and +14.5 efficiency in 22 minutes per game during the Spanish League Playoffs (reaching the final) and 10.8 points and 7.1 rebounds in 21 minutes per game in the Eurocup, reaching the Quarterfinals.

In the 2018/19 season, Shante Evans signed in France with Villeneuve d´Ascq and she averaged 9.1 points and 5.8 rebounds in 22 minutes per game in the Euroleague and 8.5 points and 5.2 rebounds in 19 minutes per game in French League.

In the 2019/20 season, Shante Evans signed in Poland with Artego and she averaged 6.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and +8.1 efficiency in 26 minutes per game after shining in the 2019 European Championship with Slovenia, averaging 14 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
