Laura Méndez has signed in France with Angers for the 2024/25 season

Laura Méndez played for Cerdanyola during the first part of her basketball career and she qualified twice to play the U16 and U18 Spanish Championships and was also a member of the Catalan Team that won the Gold Medal in the Spanish U12, U14 and U16 Championships played in 2013, 2015 and 2017.
Laura Méndez played also with the different Spanish Youth National Teams and she averaged 7 points, 4 reobunds and 3 steals per game in the U16 European Championship played in 2016 (top 5 in assists and steals) to later on play also the U17 World Championship in 2018 and the U18 and U20 European Championships in 2019.
With Spain, Laura Méndez won the gold medal in the U18 3x3 European Championship played in Georgia in 2019.
At senior level, Laura Méndez played Spanish 2nd division with Cerdanyola (being still an U18 player) and she averaged 5.4 points per game in the 2018/19 season.
Later on, Laura Méndez averaged 6.3 points per game with GEiEG in the 2019/20 season and already in the 2020/21 season she signed with Bembibre to play Spanish top division during 2 seasons.
In the 2022/23 season, Laura Méndez signed with Estudiantes and she averaged 7.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and +8.7 efficiency per game in Spanish top league and 8.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists and +12.3 efficiency per game in the Eurocup.
Laura re-signed with Estudiantes in the 2023/24 season and averaged 6.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and +7.8 efficiency in 27 minutes per game in Spanish League and 6.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5 assists per game in the Eurocup.
