Kristina Alminaite started playing in Lithuania and after winning the Gold Medal in the U18 European Championship played in 2008, she averaged 10.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.8 rebounds per game with Kaunas in the 2008/09 season. Since then, Kristina Alminate has played with the different Lithuanian Youth National Teams and also with the Senior Team.
In the 2009/10 season, Kristina signed with TEO Vilnius and she averaged 9.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and won the Lithuanian League.
Kristina Alminaite signed with VICI Kaunas in the 2010/11 season and averaged 6.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game, becoming both Lithuan League and Cup Champion and having her debut in Euroleague.
In the 2011/12 season, Kristina Alminaite signed with Sirenos Kaunas and she had a breakout season with 15.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game, shining against Kibirkstis (25 points 14 rebounds +31 efficiency), Utena (22 points 12 rebounds +31 efficiency) and Fortuna (23 points 19 rebounds +30 efficiency).
Kristina Alminaite signed with Kibirkstis in the 2012/13 season and she averagted 7.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game, becoming again Lithuanian League and Cup Champion.
In the 2013/14 season, Kristina Alminate re-signed with Kibirkstis and in December she moved to Utena where she averaged 14.9 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 3 blocks per game, becoming in the fifth best scorer, in the best rebounder and in the second best block shooter of the competition.
Kristina re-signed with Utena in the 2014/15 season and she averaged 11.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game to win her fourth Lithuanian League and her third Lithuanian Cup. In Eurocup, Kristina Alminaite excelled with 12.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game and shone against Istanbul Universiti with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks.
In the 2015/16 season, Kristina extended with UItena and she averaged 9.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 20 minutes per game.
Kristina Alminaite had her first professional experience outside Lithuania in the 2016/17 season, signing in Spain with Uni Girona and averaging 4.4 points, 5 rebounds and +8 efficiency in Spanish League and 8.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and +12.5 efficiency in 22 minutes per game in Eurocup, shining in the Agu Spor series with 15 points, 11 rebounds and +20 efficiency and 12 points, 8 rebounds and +14 efficiency. With Uni Girona, Kristina was Spanish League and Cup Finalist.
In the 2017/18 season, Kristina Alminate signed back in Uni Girona.
Kristina Alminaite is a 2.05m Lithuanian Center born 1990 who has international experience both with her National Team and at Club level and who, from 2010 to 2017 has been always one of the top 3 shotblockers in the different competitions that she has played.
Kristina, who has won many Lithuanian Leagues and Cups, is surprisingly fast for her height, has the ability to change the game due to her big defensive presence and is a good finisher close to the basket.
