Background/Bio

Destiny Williams started her career with a big success after averaging 4.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game with the United States National Team that won the U19 World Championship in 2009.

Destiny Williams was also successful in college and playing for Baylor she averaged 8.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in the 2010/11 season and 10.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game during the 2011/12 season, becoming NCAA Champion alongside Britney Griner.

Destiny Williams played her senior year at Baylor during the 2012/13 season and she averaged 8.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

After finishing college, Destiny Williams began her professional career and in the 2013/14 season she signed in Romania with Arad and averaged 16.5 points and 12.7 rebounds per game, becoming Romanian Cup Champion and League MVP.

In the 2014/15 season, Destiny Williams signed in Hungary with PEAC and she was awarded Hungarian League First Team after averaging 13.1 points and 10.4 rebounds per game while also playing a good Eurocup, averaging 12.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game.

Destiny Williams started the 2015/16 season in Poland and playing for Lublin she averaged 10.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. Destiny moved back to PEAC for the second part of the 2015/16 season and she averaged 15.2 points and 11.4 rebounds per game.

In the 2016/17 season, Destiny Williams signed in Spain with CREF Hola and she averaged 18.6 points and 12.8 rebounds per game, being the League MVP. In november 2016, she was bought out by Shinhan Bank and playing in South Korea she averaged 15.1 points and 10.9 rebounds per game, being awarded South Korean League First Team.

After a brief stint with the Chicago Sky, Destiny Williams signed for the 2017/18 season with Satu Mare and she averaged 16.6 points and 10 rebounds per game in Romanian League and 19.5 points and 15.5 rebounds per game in the CEWL.

In november 2017, Destiny Williams was traded to Woori Bank and returned to South Korean League.

Destiny Williams is a 1.85m american power forward born in 1991 who was NCAA Champion in 2012 and who has big numbers and wide experience in some of the strongest leagues like Korea, Spain, Poland or Hungary.

Destiny Williams has great all-around skills and she can score both with her back to the basket and with her mid range game. Also, Destiny has a great rebounding instinct and she has always been one of the top rebounders in the different competitions that she has played.
