Breanne Watson is 1'86 Canadian inside player born in 1985. She first started playing competitive basketball at McMath High School in Richmond, BC, Canada where she averaged 27 points and 15 rebounds per game.


At McMath, Breanne was also a standout in both volleyball and high jump. Upon graduation Breanne attended the University of Washington on basketball scholarship, where she was a solid player for 4 seasons.

In 2003-2004 as a freshman, Breanne averaged 6 points and 3.7 rebounds in 18 minutes per game. Her best performance was a 22-point outing against Oregon. As a sophomore, Breanne brought her numbers up to 8.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. At the end of the season, Breanne was selected as a member of the Canadian National Team, which played at the World University Games in Izmir, Turkey. Breanne played alongside European professional players like Sarah McKay, Holly Robertson, Lizanne Murphy, Kaela Chapdelaine and Tarmara Tatham. She also represented Canada in 2003 at the World University Games in Daegu, Korea.

During her last two seasons at Washington, her points, rebounds and minutes remained consistent. While at the University of Washington, she played with players who have played in the in the WNBA or have triumphed in Europe, including Giuliana Mendiola, Cameo Hicks and Kristen O'Neill.

After graduating from Washington, Breanne began a successful career in European basketball. Her first team was Honsu of the first division in Finland. With Honsu, Breanne had to assume more scoring responsibility than at Washington, and averaged 16.3 points and an outstanding and 9.6 rebounds per game. Her shooting percentages of 46% from the field and 39% from the 3-point line were excellent. After the Finnish season concluded, Breanne was hired by the Sundvall Saints of the Swedish first division for playoffs to play for the title. In six playoff matches, Breanne averaged 19.8 points and 13.8 rebounds per game and was again the franchise player.

Breanne is a good rebounder especially on the offensive end. Offensively she is a hard worker, likes to run the floor and she has a very good shot. Especially after her last season in Europe, where she added the three-point shot to her repertoire. Breanne has a great personality, is hardworking and is very adaptable to different situations and team roles.

Breanne Watson signs for one of the top teams in Portugal , CAB Madeira in the 2008-2009 season.

Breanne averages 18,1 points and 9,8 rebounds per game with 53,1% from the field, helping CAB Madeira to reach the semifinals.

In the 2009-2010 season, Breanne started her third season in Europe, playing for Basket Esch in Luxembourg.

And Breanne averages 22,4 points and 13,2 rebounds for 24,7 efficiency average.

In the 2010-11 season, Breanne Watson signs with Universidad de Ferrol in Spanish 2nd division, averaging 12,3 points 8,5 rebounds and 15,5 in efficiency.
Breanne is the fifth best rebounder (1st in offensive rebounds) in the league and the eleventh best player in efficiency.
