Lauren Jiménez is a 1,93m american center who after playing for North Bergen High School, went to JMU where she has had a great career, shining in her senior year with 14,1 points and 8,5 rebounds in 24 minutes per game.
Lauren´s career in high school was brilliant, recieving an All-American Honorable Mention, Defensive Player of the Year in 2006, twice North Jersey First Team in 2006 and 2007 and twice MVP of the Championship Game in 2006 and 2007.
Once her high school years were over, Lauren Jiménez joined James Madison University (JMU) averaging 6,8 points and 3,7 rebounds in 12 minutes per game as freshman in 2007-08, 8,8 points and 5,9 rebounds in 16 minutes per game as sophomore and 9 points and 5 rebounds in 17 minutes per game as junior.
Lauren Jimenez averaged 14,1 points and 8,5 rebounds per game in 24 minutes per game during her senior year (2010-11), shining against Duke with 19 points and 11 rebounds in 22 minutes.
In the 2011-12 season, Lauren Jimenez signed with Artego, in Polish 1st Division, averaging 8 points and 4,9 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.
