Miriam Forasté is a 1,90m athletic power forward born in 1991 and experienced in Spanish and European Youth Championships, winning the Silver Medal in 2010 and the Gold Medal in the 2011 U20 European Championship.

Miriam Forasté won the Euroleague in 2012 with Ros Casares and also the Spanish League.

Miriam started playing basketball at Lluisos de Gracia and moved to UB Barça as a U13 player.

Next year she won the Catalan Championship and finished third in the Spanish Championship both in club and regional teams.

In the 2005-06 season and as a U15 player, Miriam won the Silver Medal in the Catalan Championship and the Bronze Medal in the Spanish Club Championship.

Again, in the 2006-07 season, Miriam won the Catalan Championship (being the top scorer), finished in fifth position the Spanish team Championship and in third the Spanish regional team championship.

In the 2007-08 season, and as U17 player, Miriam Forasté signed with Sarria, winning the Silver Medal in the Catalan Championship and also the Silver Medal after a great  club Spanish Campionship.

Miriam stayed in Sarrià during the 2008-09 season, winning again the Catalan Silver Medal and finishing in fifth position the team Spanish Championship.

Once her junior age was over, Miriam played the 2009-10 Copa Cataluña with Sarria, ending the regular season in first position and moving to 2nd division after an impressive playoffs in Reus.

In the 2010 summer, Miriam played with the U20 Spanish National Team, winning the Silver Medal in the U20 European Championships.

Miriam had her debut in Spanish 2nd division in the 2010-11 season, averaging 11 points 5,3 rebounds and 13,2 in efficiency in just 24 minutes per game, shining with 19 points and 5 rebounds against Uni CajaCanarias, 19 points 8 rebounds and 23 in efficiency against Stadium Casablanca or 14 points 9 rebounds and 23 in efficiency against Ibaizabal.

In the 2011 summer, Miriam was a member of the Spanish National Team that won the Gold Medal in the U20 European Championship in Serbia.

Miriam Forasté signed with Ciudad Ros Casares for the 2011-12 season having a sensational season and winning the Euroleague and the Spanish League.

Míriam Forasté is one of the most exciting catalan projects as she has proved adapting to the different levels that she has played in and shining in her first season in Spanish 2nd division.

Míriam, apart from her great basketball skills has an intriguing mix of speed, jump, wingspan, height and mobility that make her an unique player and with lots of upside.

In the 2012-13 season, Miriam Forasté signed with Universidad del País Vasco, in Spanish LF2, averaging 14.5 points 7.4 rebounds and 18 efficiency per game during the regular season, quailfying for the playoffs in which she averages 15 points 5.2 rebounds and 18 in efficiency and winning all the games to move to Spanish 1st Division.

In the 2013-14 season, Miriam Forasté stayed in UPV and has a great season averaging 12.2 points 5.7 rebounds 3.6 drawn fouls and 12.8 efficiency with 49% from the field.

Miriam was one of the best power forwards in Spanish 1st division and had great games against the Euroleague teams with 23 points and 24 efficiency against Perfumerías Avenida and 21 points 9 rebounds and 24 efficiency in the win against Rivas Ecópolis.

Miriam Forasté signed with IDK Gipuzkoa UPV in Spanish 1st division during the 2014-15 season, averaging 10,8 points, 4,6 rebounds with +12,6 of efficiency in 30,3 minutes per game.

Miriam Forasté played well against Mann Filter with 20 points and 9 rebounds with +32 of efficiency Spar Citylift Girona with 18 points and 5 rebounds with +22 of efficiency and Cadi la Seu with 24 points and 6 rebounds with +20 of efficiency
