Romina Ciappina is a 1.80m international belgian shooting guard born in 1988 with Euroleague and FIBA Cup experience, where she averaged 15,6 points per game in 2009-10 and also in Belgian and Slovakian Leagues, competition in which she averaged 14,5 points per game in 2010-11.
Romina´s career beings at Rebond Ottignies from where she signs in Namur in the 2005-06 season, playing Euroleague in 2007-08 and averaging 12,8 points and 4,3 rebounds per game in the 2008-09 playoffs with Dexia and 7,1 points per game in 19 minutes in FIBA Cup.
Romina Ciappina wins the Belgian Cup and the Belgian League both in 2007 and 2009.
Romina stays in Dexia Namur in the 2009-10 season, averaging 14,6 points and 3,4 rebounds in Belgian League and 15,6 points per game in FIBA Cup, shining with 28 points against Medvescak and Saarlouis Royals and scoring 3,1 three pointers per game with excellent 50% from the three point line.
Romina moved to Presov, in Slovakian Extraliga and averaged 12,4 points 2,9 rebounds 2,1 assists and 1,9 steals per game, ending the regular season in third position and reaching the Finals against Euroleague´s Kosice.
Romina Ciappina stays in Presov in the 2010-11 season, averaging 14,5 points 2,9 rebounds and 2,1 assists per game, recieving a honorable mention in Extraliga and reaching the CEWL final, competition in which she produces 31 points 10 rebounds 6 steals and 4 assists against VS Praha and 35 points with 9 three pointers against Kara Trutnov.
Romina had some of her best games against the best teams in the league, scoring 16, 22 and 24 points against Ruzomberok, 17, 18 and 23 against Euroleague´s Dobri Anjeli Kosice or 26 against Nitra.
Romina has also had experience in the different Belgian National Teams.
Romina averaged 11,1 points and 5,5 rebounds in the U16 European Championship in 2004, 11,3 points and 3,8 rebounds in the U18 European Championship in 2006, 10 points and 3 rebounds in the U20 European Championship in 2007 and 9,8 points 4,3 rebounds and 3 assists in the U20 European Championship in 2008.
In the 2011 summer, Romina played with the Belgian Senior National Team, averaging 9,8 points 2 assists and 2,2 three pointers in 19 minutes per game.

In January 2012, Romina Ciappina signs with Priolo, in Italian 1st division, averaging 8,8 points in 22 minutes per game with 37,9% from the three point line and shining against Comense with 15 points and against Taranto and Schio with 13 in each game.
