Alicia Gladden is a left-handed 1'80 american forward born in 1985 after a brilliant career at Florida State has already played some seasons overseas, winning the League in Romania and signing good performances in Euro Cup.

Alicia is a player with a great physical talent that allows it to be an excellent defender and is accustomed to defend the team's best outside player of the other team.

Offensively, Alicia can play in the post against smaller defenders and she is a good mid range shooter, apart from having a great work ethic.

Alicia Gladden played for  Orange Park HS, where she was the MVP during the last three seasons.

In the 2003-2004 season,  Alicia joined Florida State University whre she averaged 5.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 19 minutes per game in her freshman year.

Alicia had a bigger role in her sophomore season, averaging 12,4 points 6,6 rebounds and 3,2 steals with 52% from the field and playing together with Roneeka Hodges.

Her excellent defensive capabilities helped her to be named in the ACC Best defensive team.

In the 2005-2006 season, Alicia keeps improving and averages 13.1 points and 6.4 rebounds in 27 minutes per game, being named again in the conference best defensive team and in the ACC Third Team.

In Alicia´s senior season, and as team captain, she produced  13.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, surpassing Florida State steals record and being named in the ACC Defensive Team for third season in a row.

In addition, Alicia was in the mix of players with options to be WNBA Drafted.

Finally, the Houston Comets signed her for Training Camp.

Alicia Gladden signed with romanian 1st division team , Arad, in the 2007-08 season.

In her first european experience, Alicia averaged 15 points and 5 rebounds per game and won the championship.

She also played FIBA Cup, averaging 13.4 points, 5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.4 steals per game, having her best performance against  KK Hemofarm Vrsac and producing 23 points and 11 rebounds against Monique Coker´s TEK Koleji.

Alicia Gladden played in Luxembourg, with Basket Esch  during the 2008-2009 season, averaging 21,8 points and 8,9 rebounds for a total 22,7 in average efficiency.

Energa Torun, one of the strongest teams in 1st division Poland is the destination for Alicia Gladden in the 2009-2010 season.

Alicia played again FIBA Cup and averaged 13,5 points 5,8 rebounds and 2,7 assists per game, numbers that she improved in Polish league with 14,9 points and 5,1 rebounds per game.

Alicia Gladden signed a training camp contract with the Connecticut Sun in the 2010 summer.

Alicia stayed in Torun during the 2010-11 season, averaging 9,1 points and 5,2 rebounds with 56% from the field in 23 minutes in Polish League and 8,6 points and 4,3 rebounds in FIBA Cup.

Torun played the Cup Final and Alicia also played the All Star Game.

In the 2011-12 season, Alicia Gladden signed with Partizan.
