Anete Horelika is a skilled international latvian shooting guard/small forward born in 1987 who after some seasons shining in the Latvian League signed with one of the top teams, SK Cesis, in the 2009-10 season where she had a great season that was enough to be preselected in Latvian National Team.
After playing with the U18 Latvian National Team in 2005, where she averaged 10,8 points in the European Championship, Anete Horelika played for BK LU / Kolibri in the 2005-06 season being one of the best players with 18,8 points and 8 rebounds per game.
In the 2006 summer, Anete Horelika played the U20 European Championship in Sopron and averaged 5,1 points and 3,3 rebounds per game to sign with Avantis Turiba Riga in the 2006-07 season and averaged 11,4 points and 4,4 rebounds per game in a team that won the regular season and was league finalist.
Again, Anete played with the U20 national team in the 2007 European Championship, averaging 7,9 points and 4,9 rebounds per game, shining against Germany with 20 points and 7 rebounds. She also played the World University Games in Bangkok.
Anete Horelika stayed in Avantis Riga during the 2007-08 season and averaged 10,7 points and 4,3 rebounds in Latvian League (where she reached semifinals) and 8,6 points and 3,7 rebounds in Baltic League.
Anete stayed in Riga in the 2008-09 season, averaging 13,2 points 6,9 rebounds and 2,8 assists per game in one of her best seasons that allowed her to move to SK Cesis in the 2009-10 season.
Anete Horelika averaged 7,6 points and 4 rebounds per game in the Latvian Finalist which finally lost against Euroleague TTT Riga. Anete was a key player in the Finals, competing against Lisa Wills (5th pick in WNBA Draft) and Tan White (10 points per game average in WNBA) thing that was enough so that the Latvian National Team selected her between the 16 best players in the country.
Anete Horelika signs in Spanish Burgos in the 2010-11 season. She averages 8,4 points, 2,8 rebounds and 8,5 in efficiency in just 20 minutes per game. Her percentages are excellent, with 60% from the field and 36,4% in three pointers.
Anete Horelika signs in Carmelitas Ourense in January 2011 and averages 4,6 points and 2,4 rebounds per game, helping the team to win 7 out of the 11 last games.
