Helena Sverrisdottir is a versatil icelandic player (can play 1-2-3) who after being the best player in Iceland moved to United States to play for TCU where she has had an amazing career.

Helena played for Haukar until the 2007-08 season , averaging 21,2 points 7,3 rebounds 9,8 assists and 5,4 steals per game in League in the 2006-07 season and 20,7 points,  6,5 rebounds 4,2 assists and 3 steals per game in FIBA Cup.

In the middle of the 2007-08 season, Helena joined TCU averaging 15,8 points 7,4 rebounds 4,8 assists in her sophomore year, 13,6 points 6,7 rebounds and 5,2 assists as junior and fnially 15,7 points 5,8 rebounds and 4,5 assists per game during her senior year in the 2010-11 season.

With the different Icelandic national teams, Helena averaged 19,2 points and 8,4 rebounds in the 2002 U16 European championship (she was 14), 25,5 points and 15,5 rebounds in the 2004 U16 European Championship, 20 points and 7,1 rebounds in the 2005 U18 European Championship and 22 points and 9 rebounds in the 2006 U18 European Championship.

With the senior national team, Helena played the 2009 Qualifying, averaging 19,7 points 7,7 rebounds and 5,9 assists, shining against Skerovic, Dubljevic and Bjelica´s Montenegro with 34 points and 7 rebounds.
