Kerri Gardin is an american 1.86 power forward with a strong track record both in WNBA as in Euroleague. The trajectory of Kerri began in Freedom High School where she averaged 18.4 points, 13.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 3.9 steas and 2 blocks per game, being named player of the year in North Carolina.
Finished her career in high school, Kerri chose the University of Virginia Tech to continue her development. At Virginia Tech, Kerri will improve in her performances for years in her junior averaging 11.1 points and 8 rebounds per game, scoring 22 against Florida State or against Virginia capturing 21 rebounds. And as a senior, her numbers improved, rising to 12.7 points and 10 rebounds (maximum rebound ACC) per game framed in the toughest division in the country. The fruit of her level and her well-earned reputation, Kerri Gardin was chosen at number 34 of the WNBA Draft in 2006 by the Chicago Sky, with whom attend the training camp.
Kerri will start the 2006-2007 season in the roster of ESSA Barreiro of the Portuguese first division. Her impact will be immediate (19.4 points per game) and take ESSA Barreiro to win the league, after scoring 24 points in the fifth and decisive match and being named MVP of the Finals. In 6 games, Kerri averaged 15.8 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game, with performances like 17 points and 13 rebounds against the french Tarbes with Gisela Vega or Kristen Mann, the dual effort against the belgians Novia Namur with 26 points and 9 rebounds and 16 points and 20 rebounds, or 22 points and 10 rebounds against the russian Nadezhda.
Arrived in 2008, Kerri Gardin goest to Migros, the Turkish first division. There, Kerri averaged 12.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in the framework of a competitive league. After the season, Kerri received an offer from Connecticut Sun in the WNBA and this time it manages to spend the last player cut and be full member of the roster. During the 2008-2009 season, Kerri Gardin joins by the Jolly Sibenik of Croatia, with a team that can play the top European competition, the Euroleague. Already in her second game in Euroleague, Gardin is a player who demonstrates the highest level, scoring 28 points (with 3 three points shots) and capturing 11 rebounds against the Union Hainaut Basket french.
Kerri Gardin averages 14,6 points and 8,5 rebounds in Euroleague and 13,3 points and 8,6 rebounds in Adriatic League being Croatian League Finalist and Adriatic League Champion. In the 2009 summer, Kerri Gardin plays WNBA again with Connecticut Sun being a starter in many games and averaging 5,5 points and 4,3 rebounds per game. Kerri begins the 2009-10 season playing in Spanish 1st division with Sedis Cadi and averages 8,6 points and 4,8 rebounds in only 23 minutes per game. She has her best games against Euroleague teams (14 points and 8 rebounds against Ros Casares and 16 points and 5 rebounds against Perfumerias Avenida) Kerri Gardin finishes the season in Israel, playing with Elizur Holon and averaging 18,4 points and 10,1 rebounds with great percentages.
After averaging 1,2 points and 1,2 rebounds in 8 minutes per game with Connecticut Sun in WNBA during the 2010 summer, Kerri Gardin signs with Elitzur Holon in Israel for the 2010-11 season.
Kerri Gardin averages 16,8 points 12,7 rebounds 2,3 assists and 2 steals per game in Holon.
Once the Israel season finished, Kerri signed with St.Georghe in Romiania where she averaged 12,4 points 9,2 rebounds 2,6 steals and 2,8 assists per game.
