Krista Phillips is a talented 1,98m Canadian center who has both international experience playing the U19 World Championship in 2005 (being two years younger) and averaging 8,7 points 7,4 rebounds and 1,1 blocks per game , and also USA experience, finishing the 2009-10 season in Michigan with 9,8 points 6,7 rebounds and 1,8 blocks per game, reaching the Final Four in the NIT Tournament.

Krista played for Aden Bowman High School until the 2006 season, winning 63 out of 64 games during her junior and senior year and being the top scorer in the league with 19,2 points per game.

Krista Phillips played with the U18 Canadian Team the American Championship in the 2006, reaching the final and winning the Silver Medal.

Krista Phillips signs with University of Michigan in the 2006-07 season and averages 8 points and 4,3 rebounds in 18 minutes per game in her rookie year, improving in her sophomore year with 10,3 points and 5,8 rebounds in 22 minutes per game, reaching the NIT Elite Eight.

After averaging 5,9 points and 5,2 rebounds in 18 minutes per game in the 2008-09 season, Krista increases her role in her senior year with 9,8 points and 6,7 rebounds in 27 minutes, helping Michigan to reach the NIT Final Four.

Krista Phillips is a very big and strong player but also quite fast.

She has good low post moves and also is a good passer.

Despite her height she is a very good mid and long range shooter (she averaged 42% in three pointers during the last season).

Krista plays with Canada the World Championship in Czech in the 2010 summer and averages 6,9 points and 5,5 rebounds in 20 minutes per game, shining against Greece with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

In the 2010-11 season, Krista signs with Umbertide in Italian 1st division but only averages 5,4 minutes per game, in which she produces 1,4 points and 2,8 rebounds per game. Just before Christmas,

Umbertide is the leader in the Italian league with a 8-1 balance, better than the three euroleague teams.

Krista Phillips signs with Burgos in January 2011, averaging 8,4 points 6,9 rebounds for 10,2 in efficiency in 20 minutes per game, qualifying for the playoffs to 1st Division.
