Kristina Cesnaviciute in a 2,03m Lithuanian center who after playing basketball in the United States for many years has played in the Italian , French and Spanish leagues.


Kristina Cesnaviciute averaged 18 points 12 rebounds and 5 blocks playing for Cardinal Gibbons High School. Her performance allowed her to be recruited by Virginia Commonwealth University. At VCU, Kristina had her best season as a junior player , when she averaged 8.4 points and 7 rebounds per game in addition to blocking 74 shots.

After VCU, Kristina had her first European experiences in French first division, playing for Cavigal Nice and also for Tarbes. In the 2006-2007 season, Kristina signed a long-term contract with Priolo, first Italian division team, and she was loaned to Tenerife Aguere in the 2007-2008 season, where she averaged 7.8 points 8.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. One season later she was also loaned to Colomiers, who plays in the second French division, with 9,5 points, 8,4 rebounds and 1,8 blocks shots.

Kristina has played in Lithuanian National youth teams , having played the Qualifying Round U16 in 1999 and the U18 European Championship in 2000. Kristina Cesnaviciute is a center that shines by her defensive skills and her shot blocking ability.

Kristina Cesnaviciute signs with Lyon in French NF1 during the 2009-10 season.
In the 2010-11 season, Kristina signs with Visby Ladies in the Swedish First Division, averaging 9,6 points 6,9 rebounds 1,3blocks and 11,5 in efficiency per game.
