Margaret Roundtree is an athletic american power forward who has finished her college career at Gardner Webb in the 2009-10 season, averaging 12,2 points and 7 rebounds per game and being named Player of the Year in the Big South Conference after a 28-5 record.
After being named twice in the Conference First team in her last two years of high school, averaging 12,8 points 7,5 rebounds and 1,6 blocks per game in her senior year, Margaret Roundtree accepted a scholarship at Gardner Webb.
After having a secondary role in her freshman year, Margaret was already important in her sophomore year, during the 2007-08 season, averaging 12,8 points and 7,4 rebounds per game and being named in the A-Sun and Big South Second Team and being Big South Finalist.
Margaret averaged 12,7 points and 6,5 rebounds in her junior year and was again named in the A-Sun second team and was Big South Tournament Finalist.
Margaret Roundtree had again a great season in 2009-10, leading Gardner Webb to a 28-5 record after averaging 12,2 points and 7 rebounds per game. Margaret is named in the Big South First Team and also Big South Player of the Year. She also wins the Regular Season and is Big South Tournament finalist.
Margaret is a very athletic power forward, fast in transition and with great jumping ability which allows her to finish easily.
She has a good mid range shot and is working to add the three point shot to her skills. She is a good defender and is a threat specially close to the rim.
In the 2010-11 season, Margaret Roundtree signs with Honsu, in finnish 1st division, where she averages 15,6 points 7,9 rebounds and 15,9 in efficiency per game.
