Natasa Mikic is a 1,81m Bosnian forward born in 1984 who has played during the last four seasons in the best team in Bosnia, Zeljeznicar Sarajevo where she averaged 16.8 points and 5.5 rebounds in the latest edition of the FIBA Europe Cup 08-09.
With only 20 years, Natasa played the FIBA Cup in the ranks of Macedonian Kimico, where she won both the Macedonian League and Cup. In the 2005-2006 season, Natasa signed in Zeljeznicar Sarajevo where she played until the 2008-2009 season.
In those four seasons,Natasa Mikic won three leagues (2006,2007 and 2008) and was semifinalist in 2009. She also won two cups (2006 and 2007) and was a finalist in 2008.
In the 2008-2009 season, Natasa Mikic shined FIBA Europe Cup with a spectacular average of 16.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, with special performances in both games against Latvian SK Cesis Latvian (who had Wilnett Crockett, Ieva Tare or Sandra Dijon). Natasa scored 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in each of the two games and she also produced 18 points and 5 rebounds against Lavezzini Parma who also had stars in Dalivorka Vilipic or Laura Summerton.
Natasa Mikic played for Bosnian National Team in the Qualification for European Championship 2009 averaging excellent 14.7 points and 3.2 rebounds in only 24 minutes per game. Natasa highlighted with 27 points and 7 rebounds against Kim Butler´s and Rosalee Mason´s Great Britain and she also scored 28 points against Taru Tuukkanen´s Finland in a close game.
Natasa Mikic is a versatile player who can play both the small forward and sporadically the power forward position and who is a physical player with a great ability to penetrate. Natasa Mikic signs with Mladi Krajisnik Banja Luka in Bosnia for the 2009-10 season and averages 7,9 points and 3,8 minutes in 22 minutes per game in strong Adriatic League. Natasa´s team ends in a brillian fourth position, just behind Gospic, Sibenik and Merkur. Natasa also wins the Bosnian Cup.
