Rachel Maenpaa is a 1,85m athletic power forward who after a brilliant career at Indiana State where she averaged 13,8 points and 6,3 rebounds per game in her senior season, has had different international experiences playing in first divisions in Portugal, Switzerland, Australia and Slovakia, where she has averaged 22,7 points 10 rebounds and 3,3 assists per game during the 2009-10 season.

Rachel Maenpaa played for Indiana State in the 2005-06 season, averaging 8,9 points and 5,3 rebounds per game in a team that was MVC regular season Champion and MVC Tournament finalist.

In the 2006-07 season and as a senior player, Rachel has her best season and is named in the second team in the conference after averaging 13,8 points and 6,3 rebounds per game.

Once her college career is over, Rachel signs with Uniao Madeira in Portugal, where she is one of the best players in the League, plays the All Star and also plays in FIBA cup where she averages 10 points and 5 rebounds per game.

Rachel signs in the 2008-09 season with Elfic Fribourg in Swiss 1st division and averages 11 points and 3,7 rebounds per game to later sign with Nyon where she averages 13,8 points and 5,1 rebounds per game and is League SemiFinalist.

Rachel Maenpaa signs with CBK Cassovia Kosice in the 2009-10 season and averages 22,7 points and 10 rebounds per game.

In the 2010 summer, Rachel signs with Brisbane Capitals in Australia where she is currently playing and averaging 16,4 points and 7,8 rebounds per game.

Rachel Maenpaa signs with Marbo Basket in Swedish 1st division during the 2010-11 season, averaging 14,9 points and 6,2 rebounds per game and helping her team to reach the Semifinals in which she averages 21,7 points and 7,3 rebounds per game.

In the 2011 summer, Rachel Maenpaa plays with the Northside Wizards, in Australian QBL, averaging 22,3 points and 10,7 rebounds per game.

Rachel Maenpaa is a fast and athletic player with good jumping ability and who can both play low post as shoot from outside or play one on one. Defensively she is a very active and competitive player.
