Sarah McKay is a 2,01 m canadian center with british passport (Bosman A player), international with Great Britain and with a brilliant career at Indiana University and in Spanish first and second divisions. Sarah McKay played for Eastsdide Cathonlic in the 2002-2003 season, averaging 37,8 points 26,5 rebounds and 5,5 blocks per game, being named MVP and province All Star. In her sophomore season she had 25 blocks in a single game.


Once her high school period was over, Sarah was awarded a scholarship by Indiana University where already in her rookie year she broke the most blocks by a freshman record (55) and set her better performances in 24 points and 16 in rebounds. Sarah´s best season was as a senior in 2006-2007 where she averaged 11,8 points 5,8 rebounds and 1,8 blocks per game, numbers that allowed her to ben ame in the third best five in the Big Ten Conference after finishing a successful season with 19 wins and 14 losses. Sarah McKay was specially productive against Dayton with 28 points in 19 minutes, against Michigan with 23 points and 7 rebounds or against Iowa with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

After this good season, Sarah McKay was invited by the Seattle Storm to their WNBA Training Camp. In the 2007-2008 season, Sarah started her European career after signing for Sedis Cadi in the Spanish 1st division. Sarah McKay averaged 7 points and 5,1 rebounds in 21 minutes per game, having some good games as against Ros Casares with 10 points and 4 rebounds, Extremadura with 13 points and 9 rebounds or probably her best game against Burgos with 19 points 10 rebounds and 27 in efficiency. Sarah played the Qualifying Round for the European Championship in 2008 with the British National Team and producing 7 points and 4 rebounds against Ukraine, 10 points and 7 rebounds against Lithuania or 12 points against Irsrael. Sarah McKay signed with Obenasa Navarra in the 2008-2009 season, one of the powerhouses in Spanish 2nd division and Navarra was just one game away to moving to the strong spanish 1st division.

Sarah averaged 7,9 points 7,2 rebounds and 1,5 blocks with 53% from the field for Obenasa Navarra. Sarah McKay played the Relegation Round with the British Team in January,2009 improving her performance with two big games against Finland (15 points 6 rebounds and 15 points 13 rebounds) and with 20 points and 12 rebounds in just 20 minutes against Bosnia.
