Aleksandra Crvendakic had a huge game with 20 points, 8 rebounds and +26 efficiency in 28 minutes in the crucial Euroleague win for Sopron at Galatasaray (73-75). With this win, the Hungrian Champions reach the 2nd position in their group and have important chances to qualify for the Euroleague Quarterfinals.

In her fourth season with Sopron, Aleksandra Crvendakic is performing really well in the Euroleague and she currently averages 13.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game with excellent 52% from the field, 45% in 3 pointers and 100% from the free throw line.




CAREER

Aleksandra Crvendakic played her first U16 European Championship in the 2011 summer and she averaged impressive 15.4 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3 blocks per game despite being one year younger.

At club level, Aleksandra Crvendakic played until December 2011 in Loznica, her hometown, and she averaged 13.9 points and 11.9 rebounds per game in Serbian League during her last season in the team. In January 2012, Aleksandra moved to Crvena Zvezda and she averaged 9.1 and 6.3 rebounds in 20 minutes per game.

In the 2012 summer, Aleksandra Crvendakic was the best scorer in the U16 European Championship and excelled in the tournament with 19.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

Aleksandra Crvendakic continued in Crvena Zvezda during the 2012/13 season and she averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds in 21 minutes per game.

In the 2013 summer, Aleksandra Crvendakic averaged 9 points and 5.5 rebounds in the U19 World Championship played in Russia and she was really impressive in the U18 European Championship in Croatia, averaging 16.1 points, 10.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game (2nd best scorer, rebounder and passer in the competition) and being name in the Tournament First Team.

Aleksandra played also for Crvena Zvezda during the 2013/14 season and she had a breakout year, averaging 15.5 points and 6.7 rebounds in 29 minutes per game in Serbian League and reaching the Adriatic League Final with excellent 14.6 points and 6 rebounds per game.

In the 2014 summer, Aleksandra Crvendakic played again the U18 European Championship in Portugal and she averaged 14 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, being named in the Tournament First Team. Despite being 2 years younger, Aleksandra Crvendakic also played the U20 European Championship in Udine and she averaged 13 points and 6.5 rebounds per game and reached the Semifinals.

Aleksandra Crvendakic signed a 3 year contract with Sopron and in her first year, during the 2014/15 season, she became Hungarian League Champion and averaged 9.1 points and 5 rebounds in 19 minutes per game and she also had her debut in Eurocup, averaging 9.6 points and 7.2 rebounds in 26 minutes per game.

In the 2015 summer, Aleksandra Crvendakic played the U20 European Championship in Spain and she averaged excellent 18 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.

During the 2015/16 season, Aleksandra Crvendakic had her debut in Euroleague and she averaged 10.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 21 minutes per game, shining against Fenerbahce (25 points 7 rebounds), Perfumerías Avenida (24 points) and Schio (17 points 6 rebounds). Aleksandra also won her second Hungarian League and she averaged 9.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 18 minutes per game.

In the 2016 summer, Aleksandra Crvendakic played the U20 European Championship played in Portugal and once again she had a good tournament, averaging 13.4 points, 10 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game, reaching the Semifinals and being named in the First Team of the Tournament.

During that summer, Aleksandra Crvendakic also played the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio and she won a historical Bronze Medal with the Serbian National Team.

Aleksandra Crvendakic won the Hungarian Cup and also her third Hungrian League during the 2016/17 season, averaging 13.1 points, 6 rebounds and +17.2 efficiency in 22 minutes per game.

Aleksandra had also a nice Euroleague season and she averaged 10.5 points and 5 rebounds in 27 minutes per game, shining against Hatay (20 points 11 rebounds), Bourges (15 points +17 efficiency) and Perfumerías Avenida (14 points 7 rebounds +18 efficiency).

In the 2017 summer, Aleksandra Crvendakic played the European Championship with Serbian National Team.

Aleksandra Crvendakic re-signed with Sopron for the 2017/18 season.
