American post player Marie Malone has signed in Montenegro with Buducnost until the end of the 2017/18 and will have the goal of trying to win the Adriatic League.

Marie Malone is a 1.90m american post player born ni 1989 who after playing college with Hofstra has had a good professional career, performing well in competitive leagues like Israel, Poland and Italy.

Marie Malone is a physcical player with a good all-around game, who can score either playing with her back to the basket, in transition or with her mid range shot.



CAREER

After playing for Virginia Beach High School, Marie Malone played her college career at Hofstra and averaged 12.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game during the 2011/12 season.

Marie Malone started her professional career averaging 13.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game for SISU and becoming Danish Champion in the 2012/13 season.

In the 2013/14 season, Marie Malone signed with La Spezia in Italy and she averaged 14.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game with 52% from the field.

Marie Malone signed with ASA Jerusalme during the 2014/15 season and averaged 12.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in Israeli League.

Marie Malone started the 2015/16 season in Poland, playing for Siedlce. Marie averaged 14.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game and later moved to Basket Gdynia where she averaged 9.1 points and 5 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.

Marie Malone returned to Israel in the 2016/17 season and she averaged 9 points and 6.3 rebounds in 23 minutes per game with Holon before moving in december to Anadolu Universitesi with whom she averaged 15.7 points and 10.7 rebounds in Turkish 2nd division.

In December 2017, Marie Malone signed in Montenegro with Buducnost.
